Prism House Policies & Liability Waiver

1. Membership Policies

Membership & Billing

Prism House memberships are $88 per month and automatically renew until canceled. Memberships begin on the start date selected at purchase. Monthly payments are processed automatically using the payment method provided.

Membership Benefits

Membership includes unlimited access to regularly scheduled eligible fitness and wellness classes, subject to availability, and 25% off eligible specialty events and workshops.

Specialty events, private sessions, and venue rentals are not included in unlimited class access unless otherwise specified. Member discounts cannot be combined with other promotional offers unless stated otherwise.

Class Reservations

Classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and may have limited capacity. Members are encouraged to reserve their spots in advance and cancel reservations they cannot attend.

Membership Cancellation

Memberships are month-to-month with no long-term commitment. Members may cancel through their online account before their next renewal date to prevent future charges.

Membership benefits remain available through the end of the paid billing period. No partial-month refunds are provided, except where required by applicable law.

Additional Membership Terms

Memberships are intended for individual use and are nontransferable. Prism House may adjust class schedules, instructors, and offerings as needed.

2. General Participation & Studio Guidelines

Prism House welcomes participants of varying experience and fitness levels. We ask everyone to help maintain a respectful, inclusive, and enjoyable environment.

Participants agree to:

Treat instructors, staff, and fellow guests with kindness and respect.

Follow reasonable instructions and safety guidelines during classes and activities.

Use equipment appropriately and report damaged or unsafe equipment.

Respect the space, furnishings, and belongings of others.

Arrive on time when possible and notify Prism House when unable to attend a reserved class.

Participate within their individual abilities and modify or discontinue activities when needed.

Prism House reserves the right to refuse or discontinue participation when behavior presents a safety concern or substantially disrupts others, subject to applicable law.

3. Physical Activity Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that participation in fitness, movement, wellness, and other physical activities at Prism House involves inherent risks. These may include muscle strains, sprains, falls, collisions, equipment-related injuries, and other physical injuries, including potentially serious injuries.

Activities may include, but are not limited to, yoga, Pilates, step aerobics, strength training, circuit training, dance, kickboxing, and other movement-based classes.

Voluntary Participation

I voluntarily choose to participate in activities at Prism House and acknowledge that participation may involve physical exertion.

I understand that I am responsible for participating within my abilities, following reasonable safety instructions, and stopping or modifying activities if I experience pain, dizziness, unusual discomfort, or other concerning symptoms.

I understand that I may consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating if I have concerns about my ability to exercise safely.

Assumption of Risk

I understand and voluntarily assume the inherent risks associated with my participation in Prism House activities, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Personal Belongings

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. Prism House is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded.

Emergency Assistance

In the event of an apparent medical emergency, I authorize Prism House personnel to contact emergency services when reasonably necessary. I understand that Prism House does not provide medical care.

Acknowledgment

By agreeing to these terms, I confirm that I have read and understand the participation guidelines and acknowledgment of risks outlined above.

4. Policy Updates

Prism House may update these policies as its classes, services, and offerings evolve. Material changes affecting existing memberships will be communicated as required by applicable law.
